Only a few months ago TLR formed a call of duty 4 team, containing of a mix of Slovenian/English nationality's. This however didn't worked out, so they where forced to make some changes. So Stat and Duffer decided to pick up, former Insidiae/close2insanity players Luni and killzx. So they where back to 4, the latest adition is former Exabyte/Reason star Juzn. So they where back to 5 players. However playing under the TLR organisation for a few months, the team started to notice some comunications problem's. Between the TLR manager and the team. While I35 aproching within 2 weeks, the team still didn't heard from the management. That made the team decide not to attend I35, and also leving the organisation. After that the team decided to start playing under the flag of Exabyte. Exabyte line up: Jasdev 'JUSZN' Virdee
Ryan 'duffer' Duffy
Leonidas 'kiLLzEcKz' Kyrkos
Steven 'stat' Szabo
Chris 'nreo' Mead
Stacey 'skeir' Keir
Statement by Stat on www.cadred.org/ "Basically, when we joined TLR we were "told" what we could be getting.... blar blar blar... they asked us what events we wanted to attend, we told them so they ccould sort out what type of support and shit is needed. When we joined TLR we were assigned a Manager called Munchies who spoke for the management of TLR, as the weeks passed we were asking munchies alot of questions about lan, what support we can get etc. this meant munchies had to talk to chef to find out what was going on. So for the upcoming weeks leading towards i35 (3-4 weeks) we had been figuring out what we can get from TLR, for about 3 weeks straight we had been asking munchies constant questions that he could never manage to answer, so I spoke to munchies asking whats up, and he explained that Chef was just totally ignoring all his questions, he was online but just never replied to munchies. By this time it was like about 12-14 days before lan, and still no answers from chef, so we had decided that we didn't have enough time to organize our final lineup for the event, and we realised we wouldn't of had enough time to practise for the event. Thus deciding not to attend i35. Although when we did join we really thought we were being sent to i35 because chef paid for duffers flight, but after 3 weeks of questioning and no answers we really had no faith in attending, and the fact we had lineup situations that munchies had already been informed about. Then came the 3rd day before lan, and all news had spilt out from chef: "I've been working my fucking arse off the past 3 days to sort out your tickets, machines, and clothing" and so I had to explain what I've just explained to you. I had already paid for lan so i went to lan, and recieved the computer that I was told I could use etc. but the main problem was is that I had to go through about 3-4 computers to find one that was working, and overall they didnt have 5 spare PC's that were even working, so it was decided TLR didnt deserve the results we were producing and thus leaving. This is something that has happened before with previous TLR cod4 teams, and its mostly down to Chef and his organisation/communication. Basically we are re-shuffling our LU due to issues, and are looking to a bright future, and most likely attending cc5. " Related: www.cadred.org(source) #exabyte |
