The Electronic Sports World Cup has just finished its 6the world final.
And is back to work preparing the 2009 edition with national qualifiers starting upcoming October along with a series of ESWC Masters events that will last until 2009 Summer when the finest in each game will be gathered in the Grand Final.
The location and date are still to be determined.Yesterday , a first list of official games has been released. So far no surprises there.
Counter strike 1.6 is again the main game, as theire are 2 ladders, one mixed ladder
and one female ladder. and ofcourse Trackmania Nations Forever will be present. For the other games, spots are still open and the committee will announce new titles in the upcoming weeks, probable choices are a football simulator.
An RPG-like title is also pointed by ESWC and the speculation already started,
